As written below, the name SSS has nothing to do with the algoritm Fritz uses. Jaap vd Herik just thought it was funny to add this, because of the sponsors and the famous algoritm. When I spoke Frans at the dutch championships he said he was using alfabeta. He had tried MTD but didn't get good results. Tony
