I think your points for temporary suspension sound logical but I somehow think it was a bad idea to post it like this . Though I am not at all interested in the topics Mr Gerber usually wants to talk about I didn't find misbehaviour in his posts from his side so no need to let him look bad in public. Nobody cares for a poster who doesn't post anymore , and after a few day we would have either seen "Hans Gerber" posting again , never see him again or see a "new" member after you changed his name . You can't expect everybody to deal with Moderation issues in "Moderation emails " when you then at the same time post your decisions in public IMHO. regards. pete
