I wouldn't bet this automatically. I guess Frans Morsch is very well aware of some design choices and its advantages and disadvantages. Perhaps some customers would be more happy, when they knew that there are no possible blind spots in the engine. For most games, I would assume that the Fritz way yields in better playing strength.
