There was a lot of violent shrieking, and yes, a lot of it involved Ed and Rolf.
 At one time or another, there were violent arguments between Rolf and several
other people.

That group was beset by several people who were the kinds of people who annoy
approximately everyone who wants to engage in civil discussion in approximately
every usenet group.

If you read other groups, or if you read the current chess usenet groups, I am
sure you know the kinds of people that I mean.

I haven't read r.g.c.c., except during a few short periods, since approximately
1997, so I don't know what has happened there since then.

As net personalities go, at the time we are discussing, Rolf was very annoying,
but certainly not the most annoying person I have had net dealings with.
