Tony is one of the pioneer in this field. In fact, Tony's paper was the key
source for me when i started to write my own chess/chinese chess programs more
than 15 years ago. His paper on search algorithms was one of the best in
computer chess history, in my opinion. I respect him very much, and i still feel
honored to know him in person.

I haven't look at the games yet, so i don't know exactly the causes. But i think
most likily it is the same for most people, lack of time. Many games are needed
to make a stable program and I think this is not the cases here.
