After the earlier Nimzo Guernica/2.1 the first official (and commercial) Nimzo were Nimzo 3 and Nimzo 3.5 (Jakarta version) as DOS programs. Next program of Dr. Chrilly Donninger was Nimzo 2000 (Windows), the engine was released later as WinBoard engines WBNimzo 2000a and 2000b. Then came Nimzo 99 (ChessBase native engine) followed by the CB natives Nimzo 7.32 and Nimzo 8 (and a derivation "Schweinehund" with an engine based on Nimzo 7.32/8). Current project of Chrilly Donninger is "Brutus".
