In the very same article Nunn is citated as not even having turned on the
computer when he selected the positions. He just put together a few
positions he found interesting, he said.
Thorsten, do you want to say Nunn did lie in this respect ?

The Nunn-test is as much flawed as all the other tests. For a start, the sample
 is way too small. And even a test made of 10,000 positions won't help until
 we know how to extract a "representative sample" from the "chess-space".

Fritz5 doing good at this test may mean a thing or not, but that's not the only
kind of test where it does so - not a big surprise to the CCC-audience Fritz5
doesn't at your own testing ;-)
