I agree, at least to a point. I think the price isn't extreme, compared to the 32bit 3000+ machine, it has a good video card, not intergrated shared video memory which appears to be the big downside. I sunk 3 grand with taxes for the machine I'm using now, back in 1999, so I do want another machine that will last awhile and give good performance for a few years. I never regretted it, as I have had the machine for a good long time, and it's time to move on to something modern. Five years is a long time when we're talking computers!;-) You have a good point where to draw the limit though! It's for chess, the net, games, etc. > > >> >>Terry >>>> >>>>I may be able to buy it for even less, at cost. >>>> >>>>Thoughtful comments appreciated. >>>> >>>>Here's the link. >>>> >>>> >>>>http://www.radioshack.ca/estore/Product.aspx?language=en-CA&product=2511408&category=CPUs&catalog=RadioShack >>>> >>>> >>>>Terry
