No problem, S9 uses the new UCI protocol, eg refutations lines, but that protocoll is downward compatible. Because of that compatibility the protocoll is not officialy renamed to UCI 2. This means that of course S9 is able to run on "old" Classic GUIs even if there is no need to do so because you get the latest version of the GUI. Bye Ingo
