I think it is clear enough what he thinks about it.

At any rate, people who have started with TSCP have not had problems with Tom
when they were forthright about it and did not try to hide it.  The people who
have had difficulties are those who said:
"Lookie at this new engine I made all by myself!"

And then went on to put their own copyright stuff in it as well!
