Those people who bought Fritz and/or Junior had also bought a GUI which supports these engines (Chessbase...). So they are used to this GUI, are familiar with this GUI, maybe they are too old to start to live with a new GUI with all it's twists and bugs. All programs have bugs, the new GUI for Zappa will not be an exception... Likewise it's hard to persuade Windows-people to switch to Linux, and vice versa. So, a new engine without UCI (or WB at least) will not be attracting for them. Robert
