I'm not a CC man, so these endless engine-to-engine matches mean very little to me. As an OTB player, I was just playing long games with all of the three engines and tested them on various complicated tactical positions from GM practice. So I've got an impression that Hiarcs 9 (even Hiarcs 9 as I don't have the latest H10 version now) acts in a more intelligent way than the other 2 engines. In other words, when it comes to tactics or evaluating complicated tactical game positions, it's HIM that I trust more. And I'm very fascinated with Fruit 2.1 too. It plays really good chess and reminds me of the late Tigran Petrosyan or still alive old Vassily Smyslov with its maneuvring and positional play. When one wants to work on improving his positional skills, there's nothing like playing game matches with Fabien's programme. I come to think I wish I could buy Fruit WCCC even more than Zappa 2.0 commercial. However, I presume, it's still debatable because Fabien is in two minds whether to release the commercial version or not. As I understand, he's not very commercially-minded guy being more a creative nature. Regards, Alexander
