Many years ago, when the Computer Chess Reports were still going strong, I was contacted by Vincent and sent a very early version of Diep. Vincent was very, very nice back then. Very friendly and excited about computer chess and programming. I don't know what happened, but he became very unfriendly and bitter over the years, to the point where I wont buy Diep nor any other product he is associated with. Too bad the world of computer chess has descended to these sort of levels :(
