Even strong players, even GMs and World Champions, often become arrogant or
boast about their achievements. Chess players are only human, and they naturally
have their flaws.

But A. Steen called himself a patzer in his postings more than once. I think he
was trying to prove that he can beat Fruit, rather than claiming that he is a
super strong player. I believe that he is of master strength, but no IM or GM.
This is of course only a guess.
