Hi Dan, Thanks for kind regards. The project moves on, slowly but surely, thanks to the support of many chess enthusiasts around the world! Some or our recent news: Many more people joined the project, they are downloading tablebases and keeping them shared. Some of the big bases are already spread to about 6-7 people. KBPKBP and KRPKRP are especially popular. I added a second machine to the sharing from my side, to make it 90 KBytes/s of upload bandwidth (from both machines together), or about 7.5 GBytes/day. Things can be downloaded very fast from me now, but of course even faster when the file is already spread to other members. Surprisingly many people are downloading 3-men, 4-men and 5-men bases, which means the project is useful in popularazing the EGTB as a whole. At least 13 people downloaded 3-men set from me, and at least 11 people - 4-men set. With p2p network there may be of course more, because someone could download them from those who already downloaded them from me or other members. In 5-men set the most popular is KPPKP base (naturally), downloaded from me by at least 8 people. All other 5-men files were already downloaded at least once each too. Our latest additions:  KRNKNN and  KRBKBB. Also  KNPPKR improved to the "green smiley" status, which means it is shared by multiple people now. Right now I am transferring some more bases from another member by FTP, to start sharing them from multiple machines at once. As usual, we are welcoming anyone to join, by downloading the tablebases and keeping them shared. If you have some files that we are missing, it would be great of course if you could share them and send me the links. Unfortunately some members who sent me the links in the beginning, backed off now, leaving those files half-downloaded by other members. Of course we hope to get those missing files (marked by sad smiley) back online in future.
