Jouni,

You are correct Sir. When the amount of data increases the amount of useless
data accompanies it. Chessbase can produce such a program but then how would it
sell all the chess teaching stuff that it already sells? Of course, why should
we any longer buy commercial programs when free programs like Toga II 1.x are as
good as or better than those costlier disks?

The market for bigger, faster, better programs will inexorably expand. You'll see.

TJ

Chessbase is just practicing for the big release of Fritz 11 Mega Terror Edition
in 2007. Think of all the stuff you buy from them till then as support for their
efforts at that future time.
