A couple of minutes ago I read a new email, sender "A.Steen". As I think I know
by now who Steen really was I stand under a more depressed mood in addition to
the shock when I heard of the scandal in CCC. And this is for a reason that has
nothing to do with the Steen case right now. It happened on CCC where I
experienced something similar in 1997 and formerly in r.g.c.c. With that having
said I already see the light at the end of the actual tunnel which assures me
that I was always right in not leaving the field and this place because for me
it was always chess and not the friendship to the members that kept me staying.
My engagement in the A.Steen question brought me multi satisfaction. My
depressive reaction at the instant is caused by my somewhat split position in a
question about wishful thinking and thoughtful realism. I still have my emotions
if single individuals are scapegoated although it's true I was also able to let
myself be hunted also to make my studies. See Google in r.g.c.c. from 1996
Jakarta WCCC on when it went about East-Timor and the then following debates
over the next 2 years. But if I want to enjoy my life it's important to be a
realist. And a single persuaded or impressed person would be a good success in
such a forum here. But even with zero success it is always important to raise
one's voice in view of happy crucifications; this is a pleasure but also a duty
for me as a German after the Holocaust.

As it seems Anthony, Stuart, Sune and two others in CCC didn't need my support
to find their _own_ perspective in the latest flamewar. I salute them.

Steen told me I'd made two mistakes. One was that I had taken that Dr Wael Deeb
had insulted A.Steen which was not true but he said that to Father, the one with
the 250 move game. I want to apologize to Dr Wael. That is what I can give you
from the private email.
