well not exactly

what i mentioned in an earlier post was that some older Mobil,Exclusive and
Muchen boards could only accept 8(eight) bit modules(MM1,MM3 etc) and not 16/32
bit modules

then Mephisto released "S" versions of the Exclusive and Munchen boards which
could accept all 8,16 and 32 bit modules
Mephisto soon removed the label "S" on the Exclusive boards but kept it on the
Munchen boards

so again..the issue was 8BIT to 16/32 bit compatability not 16-32 bit
compatibilty

all boards that accepet 16 bit will also accept 32 bit
as far as the Bavaria ..all World champion Mephisto modules starting from
version 1.04 of the Portorose eprom will work in the Bavaria

the first versions of the Portorose were not Bavaria compatible

yes the Senator and Magellan will work in the boards that are not 8 BIT ONLY(NON
S)

As to the Renaissance..i am not sure what you are refering to here??

there was a Renaissance board but this is released by Saitek
