The position after 30.Nd2 was
[D]4r1k1/6p1/2p2p1p/p2bP3/1b1P2P1/4B3/P2NrPP1/R2R2K1 b - - 0 30
Now, Junior didn't go for the simple 30...Bxd2 etc. to solve the Re2 problem,
but decided to give that rook for a bishop and a pawn. 30...fxe5 31.Kf1 Bc3
32.Rab1 Rxe3 33.fxe3 Rf8+ 34.Ke2 exd4 35.exd4 Bxd4
[D]5rk1/6p1/2p4p/p2b4/3b2P1/8/P2NK1P1/1R1R4 w - - 0 36
For the small material disadvantage, black has got the bishop pair, a passed
pawn, and white suffers from an isolated doubled pawn.

I tried some engines in the first position, and it seems all will go for
continuations starting with 30...fxe5. None preferred 30...Bxd2. In the second
position, the compensation is evaluated differently by the engines, each
(roughly between -0.20 to -1.30).

Yours truly Paul J. Sacral
