The fact that the games are boring for chess players does not mean that they cannot be productive for programmers. I did not use them to improve movei but I think that they can be used to help programmers. If programmers find what is the bad moves of programs that they need to avoid then they may test if some change help the program to avoid the bad moves. Uri
