Well there is something to be said for blocked position detection, but in general I don't think its that interesting. Perhaps I'll get around to it eventually. In the mean time I'll just recommend people to use Paquette's anti-human book which someone (I forget who) used to slaughter Pablo 20-0 despite using a Crafty version from 1995. Really I much prefer the Dr's style, for a very specific reason: he plays closed positions *TO WIN*, Pablo plays *TO DRAW*. Pablo would not win a single game were it not for bugs in the Playchess software regarding very long games. anthony
