no i am not having the rights to the code.

yes.
but don't hope too much. the code is very complicate. i doubt that you can do
much with it if you want to learn or continue to it.

now it is 2005. the project was stopped 1999.

thats 6 years.

the whole search of CSTAL would need a complete UPDATE.

much has happened over the years. e.g. when CSTal was on the market, nalimov was
not compressed !

There was an rewrite of the engine, but it was never finished.
