Hi, Jonny 2.83 is available for download now. Playing strength is about the same as v. 2.82, compare with 283b from CEGT rating list, which is identic from the chess part. But there are some new features: - Jonny has an own book function + book now; the book was created by Stefan Kleinert, whom I want to thank here once again. You can download it separately (see below). - 6men-TBs with pawns are supported - TBs should also work under Linux now (just realized they did not in previous versions) - the output for the currently tested move is only done in periodic intervalls, which avoids "noise" at lower search depths - a shortened version of the README is attached in English - the internal board representation was converted to 0x88 - some smaller bugs were fixed download for windows (different CPUs): AMD64: http://www.schachclub-forchheim.de/jonny/jonny283_AMD64.zip AMD_XP: http://www.schachclub-forchheim.de/jonny/jonny283_AMDXP.zip Pentium 4: http://www.schachclub-forchheim.de/jonny/jonny283_P4.zip older CPUs: http://www.schachclub-forchheim.de/jonny/jonny283_olderCPU.zip download for Linux: http://www.schachclub-forchheim.de/jonny/jonny283_lin.tar.gz The book is available under: http://www.schachclub-forchheim.de/jonny/jonny.bkt Best Johannes
