I really don't give a Rat's Patootie how you guys do it.
I reflected on what Uri has said several times about having a Baseline,
and he mentioned that Nodes Searched and time was a Key.

Mine will be the simple Math one.

  1Ply   = 20
  2Ply   = 400
  3Ply   = 8000
  4Ply   = 160000
  5Ply   = 3200000
  6Ply   = 64000000
  7Ply   = 128000000
  and so on..

Whatever Baseline you choose it would be interesting if you posted
results of your engine using the Min & Max Hash Settings.
