Tom,

Yes, I had forgotten about your recent offerings!

On which WinCE PDAs did you develop and test PalmChess?

Do you know of any head-to-head matches between your program and other chess
computers or PDA programs? (One reviewer of Psion chess programs did a match
between the current offerings, for instance:
http://3lib.online.co.uk/reviews.html#ches) Feel free to come to FICS anytime
and match NewtonChess (Deep Green) for a strength comparison.

Not to say that strength is the prime feature of a chess program, now that even
embedded processors are so fast. In fact, one of the main additions in the last
release of Deep Green was an optional random factor in the eval. One of the
biggest complaints from users was that they couldn't beat the thing on an
MP2000, even at the lowest setting of one second per move!
