In another message I noticed how many useful and reliable rating lists we have now. CEGT surely has been a big hit, expecially because SSDF, while as usual outstanding, has been updating a little bit less lately. Then there is Kurt Utzinger which has decided to run EloStat on his test, which were already highly regarded. Then we have WBEC, CSS and a lot of others. However, I noticed that good rating list (lots of games and fixed format) tend to give pretty much the same results, as it is supposed to be. In the image there is a comparison of Kurt's and CEGT lists (shifted to have the same average) for the common engines. It is notable how almost all the engines have perfectly compatible results, with the only slight exception of Gandalf 6.0. The link to the image is http://host.ekono.net/images/files/2555/Chart.jpg As soon as the new SSDF and WBEC lists are released I plan to make a comparison of all the four lists. Maurizio
