What was your take on it? > >-Josh Hi Joshua, I have seen "Game Over - Kasparov and the machine" and I would agree with you that it did make rather too much of Kasparov's conspiracy issue. It was a very interesting documentary but left me wanting much more, not just information regarding IBM's Deep Blue but also something more substantial about the quality of the games played. The pretentious whispered narration really annoyed me, it being almost impossible to actually hear what was being said. I'm afraid that there's simply too much arty-farty nonsense these days which detracts from the enjoyment of such works. However from the biased viewpoint of a computer chess nut it's an essential view. The DVD also has a free special edition of Fritz 6.0 and can be obtained for as little as £5.99! Terry
