Hello Mike,

No insult intended:

(a) Ensure that you are using the correct version 32 or 64 bits for your
system. Actually, the 32 bit version should run everywhere....

(b) Below is my ini file. Might I suggest just using Rybka or RybkaUCI as the
folder name. No spaces. No dots.

[PolyGlot]
EngineName = RybkaUCI.exe
EngineDir = D:\Program Files\Engines\RybkaUCI
EngineCommand =  RybkaUCI.exe
Log = true
LogFile = RybkaUCI.log
Resign = true
ResignMoves = 6
ResignScore = 700
[Engine]
Hash = 64
NalimovPath = E:\TB
NalimovCache = 8

Polyglot is working well here. Below is the log file.

POLYGLOT INI file "polyglot.ini"
POLYGLOT Dir "D:\Program Files\Engines\RybkaUCI"
POLYGLOT Command "RybkaUCI.exe"
> ENGINE uci
< ENGINE id name Rybka 1.0 Beta 32-bit
< ENGINE id author Vasik Rajlich
< ENGINE option name Hash type spin min 2 max 4096 default 32
< ENGINE option name Search Direction type combo default Very Positional var
Very Positional var Slightly Positional var Slightly Tactical var Very Tactical
< ENGINE uciok
> ENGINE setoption name Hash value 64
> ENGINE isready
< ENGINE readyok

I hope that this helps. Always happy to help a fellow Winboarder.
