Hello Thomas,
I could do that but the blitz time controls are what I'm interested in.  It also
allows me to get more information faster.  My 32000+ blitz database closely
resembles the SSDF list when comparing Elo of engines.  I see long time controls
as a waste of time unless you are really interested in the quality of play.  I'm
more interested in the blitz games and the quality of play at G/5min is way
above my head anyway.  Besides many people including SSDF will test at longer
time controls.
