ZoneAlarm is indeed a nice program, it is a freeware firewall for personal use, like BlackICE, I use it for quite some time now and am very satisfacted. It doesn't hamper Internet comms at all, while guaranteeing you full stealth mode by hiding your ports. However if you grant a program access, like Netscape or Internet Explorer, it means also downloading the cookie. So for that part I think better use your browser security settings or a program like IDcide. http://www.zonelabs.com It is strange, BTW, how we descibe such a blocker. When I read William Gibson in the Eighties, he was talking about ICE, (I think Intrusive Countermeasure Electronics or so) but in reality we switched from the ICE to the FIRE(wall). Jeroen ;-}
