Is there a Winboard version of Shredder 5.0, or one that can be _directly_
connected to an ICS?

I did purchase Shredder 4.0, as our discussions before made me get off the fence
and purchase it.

I do value how a programmer does see the current market for chess programs, and
how it rates their "new" version against the other "new" versions.

Where does Shredder 5.0 rate in games <30 mins per side? I like using chess
programs mainly over ICS, in games at <30 min per side, and I really don't care
about rating as I do about interesting games for observers to watch and guess
what the computer is possibly thinking. Will Shredder be an entertaining as I
have found the Rebel 11.0 package? Or the upcoming Fritz 7 package that I have
found interesting to watch?

Let me also say I was not impressed with Fritz 6's play, but was with Fritz
5.32. I enjoyed Junior 6 better than Junior 5. Will I enjoy Shredder 5.0 better
than 4.0?

Quite a few questions, but as we have discussed this before I feel you can give
me the best, honest answer.

Purchasing Shredder 5.0 would be a lock, if it has a Winboard version.
