Hello Stefan. As I read through the thread concerning Shredder 5 - I saw that a WinBoard version is not planned anytime soon. I have sent you email concerning this - but was unable to get a response, so I guess I will post away... :) (use the email within the header if you prefer to discuss this via private email.) I work closely with Eberhard Boerger (Ebbi(C)@ICC) on his autoplayer - which allows non-internet capable chess engines to play on the chess servers via AUTO232. The problem we had when attempting to use this adapter "efficiently" with Shredder4 was the version of AUTO232 protocol you incorporated into the package. It does not appear to be AUTO232 extended mode, which creates various problems (promotion, etc.) Will Shredder5's interface incorporate the latest AUTO232 protocol - much like Chessbase's?
