Yes, mine for example. Of course I do not have problems to understand the rules but children and hobby players might have. I would prefer rules which are based on this: [D] 4k2r/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/4K2R w Kk - 0 1 (Long castle only allowed if second Rook is on a1, and not on b1,c1 or d1) or this position: [D] r3k2r/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/R3K2R w Kk - 0 1 and not on this position: [D] 4k3/pppppppp/8/8/8/8/PPPPPPPP/4K3 w - - 0 1 I am also not strictly against start positions with two same coloured bishops, because that would certainly lead to very sharp and interesting play. Certainly I would accept whatever the majority of Chessplayers prefers. I just do not think that the majority is happy with those rules. AFAIK nobody has asked the Chessplayers. A poll supported by the national Chess Federations for example. Michael > >I believe that more people are going to prefer classic chess and not FRC >when the money is the same. > >Uri
