Longer actually, as SAN was done prior to PGN.

There was the suggestion to abandon English tag names in favor of Latin or even
Loglan.  Although I took a few years of the former and am a fan of both, I have
somehow resisted implementing either of them.

But a Latin or Loglan scheme would have the advantage of pleasing everyone to an
equal (but negative) extent.
