1000 canadian is about 736 US dollars. At the first link below, you can buy it
for 620. I wouldn't buy it though.

The word "shared" is a bad sign. Don't expect great things graphics wise. I
would expect it to be slow.

It doesn't come with a monitor. The ones offered for sale on the same page you
give are too expensive.

The memory speed is on the slow side.

What kind of audio card does it have? Or is built into the motherboard? It's
built in.

How many PCI slots does it have? Only 3 and one is already being used.

What kind of speakers, if any, does it come with? None.

How many USB ports does it have? Firewire? 6 USB 2.0 plus 2 Firewire.

What is the capacity of the power supply?

Does it some with Windows XP pro or home edition? Home edition.

What do you want to use the machine for?

Here is a more informative link that also offers the machine for less
http://www.shopping.hp.com/

Good luck!
