Subject: I made the test twice , and I am running it a third

Go up one level in this thread

since everybody is speaking of the the test book vs nobook , most simple was to
perform it , with choosing properly engines and books :
for the book ,I chose HARDING.ctg , the book made after the database MegaCor3 of
T.D.Harding ; it's home made , but everybody can make it : it just needs 1 or 2
hours
I chose this book because it is very comprehensive , and it is almost impossible
to put the game "out of book"
For 1st try , I used a mistake Idid when downloading Aristarch4.50 , and which
led me to have several copies of this engine : results are nearly equal
But one could object that Aristarch has an internal "minibook" that prevents it
to make "silly" moves
Then , I tried again with Pharaon3.00 and Pharaon3.1 ,first being a Beta version
, the second the official one : here too , equality
And now the same with Hiarcs9 and Hiarcs8Bareev : it's currently running but at
middle nothing tells equality will be broken
If someone wants to make same sort of tries....
Friendly Yours
