      Hi Uri
I do not know Fabien Letouzey and if you say he is a good
(the best) chess programmer this may be true. But to assume
that an amateur programmer with his limited time to work
on his engine will be able to at once head at the top seems
nevertheless very optimistic to me. Have we seen a new top
program (rank 1-4) coming up in the last 3-4 years? No, the
best are still the same with latest version. This does of
course not mean that other engines can't play fantastic chess
and beat all the tops at any time in a single game or even in
matches over a short distance. But no other program has an overall
strenght better than the four tops. Despite all of these arguments,
I very much like the amateur programs which often enough show
most interesting ideas in the analysis.
      Kurt
