http://hardware.slashdot.org/hardware/05/11/28/141241.shtml?tid=198&tid=188&tid=1 With the advent of 1600 Gigabyte storage and 256 MB/sec transfer speed from the optical disk, Fritz 11 will appear in another 2 years from now. Fritz 11 will have a complete 7 man EGTB with a 5,000,000,000 move opening book and relevant historical chessgames in a very large database. Additional chess teaching sections of 100 hours length will be found on the 1.6 Terabyte disk. Fritz 11 will run on all systems capable of supporting the new media. Most computers will be four core systems running at the equivalent of 64 Gigahertz. Ten to Twenty Gigabytes of RAM will be standard. All this for the low price of $129.95 USD or $150.00 Euros.
