>Please read the manual for some kind of complete reset key press combination. >Most chess computers will have this. If not a physical reset button. Removing >all power and the backup battery (if it has one) might also reset its memory. no reset instructions in the manual Murat the manual does mention that given the symptoms the Robot is exhibiting it could either be the Adaptor or the Robot is receiving conflicting signals you think this might be a defective Eprom? if so..im toast i did check to see if all of the Eproms were correctly in place the Robot has a door making it easy to get to the Eproms upgrades to the Robot were planned but never released Robot Eprom layout: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/cpaa2@sbcglobal.net/detail?.dir=e084&.dnm=1998.jpg&.src=ph if you look at Eprom 1(bottom left) i am missing the sticker on the Eprom notice how it seems to be important that the label is in place because they included another small circualr sticker to keep it that way.only on Eprom one do you see this small circular sticker on my Robot now Eprom 1 is missing the main sticker and the small circular one holding it in place the sticker is missing and i can see something like a clear see though window in the Eprom you dont thing that this missing sticker could possibly mean anything like a connection is not being made or something?? naah that's too unlikely Steve
