I also tried to exchange pieces but it does not always work Here is again the game that I lost at 5/40(of course I did mistakes that I do not do at slower time control but I do not think that it is so easy to trade pieces when you start with only knight advanatge). I guess that the problem is evaluation of pawns. Note that oroginally I believed that with bishop against 2 pawns I have good chances to win but it seems that fabien is simply smarter than me because fruit evaluate the endgame after trading rooks as equal and I did not know what to do in the endgame and even lost.
