Hi Steve, >couldn't take it after awhile so i sold my apt and moved to CT. >so now instead of being able to get to work in 15 minutes it takes me 1hr.45 min >each way >but at least its quiet at night and on the weekends Yes, I understand exactly what you mean. It's one thing to live and work here for three weeks but another for 11 years... I think I could live here for longer either. But almost 2 hours(!) each way for me wouldn't be very sexy too, actually... >I loved the food.very hearty with all of the Wurste and Beers >no time for schachcomputer hunting back then though Well, you also get pizza, hamburgers or chinese food there. Or any other style you wish, in particular in the larger cities as Hamburg, München, Berlin... Actually Düsseldorf belongs to the cities with the best restaurants in Germany. As far as I remember only Bonn had more top restaurants of all price categories, Düsseldorf came in second... :) And, not to forget (and to defend this post as being not totally off-topic), in the west of Germany and Netherlands you find probably the highest density of schachcomputer collectors world wide... *braggin about the home area* ;)) > > >Good Morning Regards >Steve Good Evening Regards, Martin
