No.  I do not believe it.  Shredder competed in the World Champs as "Shredder"
despite running on a quad; ditto for Diep, Zappa, and Crafty.

The whole hitchhiker's guide to the universe thing was hilarious.  I can so see
a bunch of CMU nerds coming up with something like that.  Then "Deep Blue" is
again a funny pun and a nice sounding name.   After that the novelty wore off,
and now its simply passe.

Let me be clear: there is no "Deep Zappa".  Or if there is, it isn't written by
me.
