Thanks for the response, Franz. When I start GambitFruit from the command line then it really reports that bitbases are loaded. But under Arena I cannot see any indications that they are used by the engine. I tried KPKP, KQKR, KPKB... Engines with _tablebase_ support move instantly, but GambitFruit and Scorpio don't. They are thinking as long as without bitbases. Regards, Robert
