Subject: The Fruit Family

Hi all!

I guess there are a few here that are interested in the Fruit family and how
they are getting along and communicating between them selfs.
I guess also that Fruit 2.2.1 is widely accepted as the strongest "all over"
A littlebit stronger than Fritz 9.

Next in line of the fruits is Toga II 1.1.
Toga maybe the strongest at very short time controles such as 1+1.

And thereafter I think GambitFruit is _still_ weeker than its cousins but it (or
he) is very intersting for the experiments that "one" of its authors is
conducting.
Note that I use "I guess" and "I think" for my safety.

Moga 2 may be the least known of the Fruit offspring and that is a pity
because I have heard that it has a very lively playing style and is supposed to
be quite strong (ofcourse).

And here is a small test that has very light weight due to it´s few games.
Time was 1+1 and all used the Fruit 2.1.1 book.
GambitFruit had its bitbases.

1: TogaII-1.1        11,5/20 ·········· =1===01=01 =110==11=0  105,50
2: Fruit2.2.1        11,0/20 =0===10=10 ·········· =11=0=0111  100,50
3: GFruit-4b          7,5/20 =001==00=1 =00=1=1000 ··········   84,50

Best regards, Ómar.
