I agree one shouldn't, but as to why he brought those flames on himself, it no
doubt is his fault due to the quite cocky comments he made in his posts, such
as:

Against F9, S9, my score (playing them under strictest conditions) is poorer

Since I'm sure IMs and GMs aren't trying to beat the engines in a tactical
slugfest, the last paragraph quoted above suggests he plays more competently
than they, and at 3min blitz no less.
BTW, I looked for the posts where he supposedly repeatedly calls himself a
patzer, and couldn't find it. At best he says "we are all patzers" at one point.
I may have missed it though, as I don't feel like reading every single one of
this guy's stuff.
As to more inflammable material, suggesting he does NOT regard himself a patzer:
