Subject: Chess960: X-FEN rules international

In contrast to the opinion of some so called Chess960 friends (including
pseudonymes) in fact Shredder "FEN" for Chess960 is not at all recognized
outside the Shredder ghetto world. True Chess960 friends have existed and played
that game for years, long before that compatibility attack.

An actual example is the actual open game: "Mike Rosa vs. the FRCEC Community"
e.g. to be found at http://www.chess-960.de/. Interested Chess960 players could
participate via http://frcec.chess960.info/DEU/FRCEC-home.htm or
http://www.e4ec.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=95 or
http://forum.chess960.info/forum_posts.asp?TID=21&PN=1&TPN=1 or by email using
frcec-play-the-master@yahoogroups.com.

The game could be seen by a PGN viewer or via http://www.schemingmind.com.

You will notice, that several online servers, PGN databases supporting Chess960
continue to use the compatible X-FEN. There is no need to accept the
disturbation by SMK's imcompatible approach to pollute the Chess960 scene by his
incompatible Shredder "FEN".

Regards, Reinhard.
