Hi all! Fortress v1.5 is now downloadable from www.cent.co.yu/chess/. Take a look at the following game it played against GNU Chess. Is Fortress the new Morphy? It's opening book is nothing more than a very small tree of moves (about 100 moves). I will work on a real opening book after I have implemented all my new ideas concerning tactical and positional play. You can analyze the game with Fortress itself (please read the readme file).
